Trying to incorporate more plants in your diet? Attend a Meatless Monday cooking demonstration and sample tasty food, discuss the whys and hows of meatless meals, and receive the resources to implement a successful healthy diet. • New Spring Garden Market Wild Foods Tour: Take a walk through New Spring Garden Market to look at some of the more intriguing fruits and vegetables that grow wild in our region – like Bamboo, Lotus, Ginkgo, Hawthorne, Daylily, Wapato and much more – and discuss where they grow, how to harvest them and how to prepare them. • Vacant Land Resource Fair: All Your Questions Answered About That Vacant Lot on Your Block. With the City of Philadelphia’s recent commitment “to ethically and transparently process the disposition of vacant land”, the Vacant Land Resource Fair will inform on the policy changes, process, presentations on Land Access, but most importantly, expert partners will be available to answer 1-on-1 property specific questions.
