Where to recycle your old Xbox

Game over – but not to the landfill.

Have an old Xbox console or accessories that you need to get rid of?

Microsoft has a program to recycle your old products, accessories, packaging and batteries.

The State of Pennsylvania makes it mandatory to recycle computer and computer devices in the commonwealth’s Covered Device Recycling Act. The legislation was established in November 2010.

Where to recycle your Xbox

Philadelphia has three collection sites, two with ongoing drop-offs and one with a collection event.

  • ECOvanta, 2209 South 58th Street, Philadelphia 19143; Drop-off. (215) 729-3770
  • KAN CO METALS INC., 4601 Bath Street, #81mm Philadelphia PA 19137; Drop-off. (856) 596-1476
  • MOMs Organic Market, 34 S 11th St.; Collection Event (Date TBD.)

You can also use Microsoft’s Free mail-back program to return products including  desktop computers, laptop or tablet, mixed reality device, mobile phone, monitor, peripheral, video game console, packaging.
