Want to watch an awesome flag football game on Saturday?

The North Philadelphia Aztecs are returning to their home field for the first time in 20 years to take on the South County Chargers. But before the kickoff, they are having a Media Flag Football game for charity, with one of the players being yours truly.

Whether you’ve seen me on the kickball field or have read about my athletic experience, you may know I’m not the most nimble on the field. Like picture a dachshund trying to reach the top shelf in Whole Foods.

Yet when NRG suggested I could play football for charity, I couldn’t turn down donating $1000 to the fabulous Clean Air Council. Other media personnel from WHYY, Q102, Forbes, Philly City Paper and TheCentsibleLife will be participating in the faceoff as well. The MVP wins $10,000 for charity (which will go to someone lucky!)

Who: Media Charity Flag Football Game
Where:  Hunting Park Football Field (900 West Hunting Park Avenue, Phila PA)
When: Saturday, September 14th at 10 AM.
