SEPTA Key: Septa Enters 21st Century

SEPTA is FINALLY getting ready into the 21st century as they slowly prep to say goodbye to those darn tokens.

Yesterday, SEPTA began to provide the SEPTA Key Card for up to 10,000 “Early Adopter” riders for a weekly or monthly pass. You can use these cards on buses, trolleys or subway rides.

According to PlanPhilly’s thorough explanation of SEPTA Key, the rest of us should be allowed to get the Septa Key “sometime over the summer.” Regional riders will have to wait to have these “Key” features.
