Center for Aquatic Sciences

The Center for Aquatic Sciences is based in Camden NJ, engaging youth and residents in on-water and near-water activities on the Cooper River and Delaware River Back Channel. Activities take place in local green spaces that include Pyne Poynt Park, Cramer Hill Nature Preserve, Gateway Park, Wiggin’s Waterfront Promenade, Phoenix Park, Petty’s Island, and the soon to open Cramer Hill Waterfront Park. The mission of the Center for Aquatic Sciences is Education and Youth Development through experiential engagement to promote the understanding, appreciation, and protection of aquatic life and habitats.
