Join Wild Philadelphia on Valentine’s weekend for a celebration of love and connection of all kinds. Whether you’re looking to slow down and reconnect with your partner, seeking some quality self-care time, or just craving outdoor community, you are welcome here.
Join us for a forest therapy (aka forest bathing) session in the Wissahickon, where we’ll listen to our bodies and enjoy mindful time soaking in the healing qualities of the natural world in this special season. Forest therapy invites you to let go of your to-do list, and return to a simpler state of being. Your ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Anisa, will gently walk the group through a sequence of invitations to engage with nature and our senses. We’ll keep moving to stay warm, but this is a low-impact walk — not a rigorous hike.
Exact meeting location and details will be sent via email. This walk is geared towards adults.
Sliding scale — please pay what you can. 10% of proceeds will be donated to the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance (NAFSA). Learn more at nativefoodalliance.org.
