United By Blue’s Schuylkill River Cleanup

Join United by Blue for the 2017 kickoff cleanup at Bartram’s Garden. We’ll be teaming up with Philadelphia Water and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation to tackle the trash on the banks of the Schuylkill River. Bartram’s Garden is one of Philadelphia’s treasured green spaces, providing recreation for everyone from river enthusiasts to hikers and everyone in between! It is also habitat to a variety of land and water species.

Unfortunately, this historic site is often littered with household trash, plastic and Styrofoam. The trash gets carried downstream in the Schuylkill and ends up collecting on its banks. Please help us to cleanup and preserve this urban oasis!
