Join Chestnut Hill in welcoming Autumn with a day of art, music, culinary delights, and boutique shopping during the Fall for the Arts Festival! Germantown Avenue will transform into an outdoor arts and crafts marketplace between Willow Grove and Rex Avenues. Fall for the Arts will feature 100 distinctive vendors, including over 50 new local artists, many featuring live demonstrations in The Makers Village.
New to the festival this year will be a craft beer mini-fest called Hops on the Hill. Two hubs with six local micro-breweries will be located adjacent to our two hosting breweries, Chestnut Hill Brewing Co. and Iron Hill Brewery. Craft beer lovers will have so many brews to choose from!
Children will enjoy the Children’s Amusement Zone, including face painting and fun art activities. Guests can stroll the Avenue to view and purchase fine arts and crafts, enjoy live music or dine al fresco at a diverse choice of Chestnut Hill restaurants. Germantown Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic as fine arts and craft vendors, live entertainment, and children’s rides and activities take place up and down the street between the 8000 and 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue. Admission to the festival is free.
