Responding to Screen Time with Nature: A Family Workshop

Spending too much time in front of a screen can mean distractions, academic challenges, social-emotional issues, and loss of attention span.  Interacting with nature offers a counter balance.

Join licensed psychotherapist Isaac Garfield for a family workshop about building connections with the natural world.  Activities will include animal tracking and “owl eyes,” and other fun ways to increase attention span and improve relationships through interaction with nature.  Learn expert suggestions for limiting screen time and a collaborative approach to involve children in determining rules for usage.   For parents and children in grades 3 – 8.
