Pre-Order your sustainable, local, and humanely raised turkeys now through November 20th

November 9, 2015 @ 8:00 am - November 11, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

Fair Food is taking orders for locally raised turkeys for Thanksgiving celebrations through November 20th. All birds are available for pick up Tuesday, Nov. 24 or Wednesday, Nov. 25 before Thanksgiving ONLY at the Fair Food Farmstand inside Reading Terminal Market, 51 North 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 (just south of the 12th and Arch entrance).

Longtime Fair Food Farmstand customer Deb McCarty says, “I have been purchasing our turkeys at Fair Food Farmstand for many years now. We chose Fair Food because of our desire to support humanely and locally raised turkeys that have always been fresh and delicious. In fact, I usually purchase an extra turkey (Red Bourbon for its dark meat), freeze it and then cook it on the grill in the summer. What a treat that was this year!”

Customers can also pre-order locally made pastries and breads from Wild Flour Bakery, gluten-free desserts from Brûlée Bakery, Weckerly’s Ice Cream, and oysters from the Cape May Oyster Cooperative for pickup at the Fair Food Farmstand. Customers will have the opportunity to shop the Farmstand’s wide selection of local products, from cranberries and Brussels sprouts to artisan cheese and grass-fed butter.

The Howes process their own birds at a USDA-inspected facility on-site. Fresh, never frozen.
