Net Impact Philadelphia – No-Host Dinner at FARMiCiA for GREEN WEEK

Join Net Impact Philadelphia for our next event during GREEN WEEK, a No-Host Dinner at FARMiCiA on Wednesday, April 24th. We are very excited to be partnering with Green Philly, a local organization that promotes sustainability as accessible, easy and equitable for the region.


Borrowing from the series of topic-driven No-Host Dinners from the annual Net Impact conference, we are having our own Green Week No-Host Dinner around a hot topic: Philadelphia restaurants making an impact.


We will have someone from FARMiCiA speak to us about their emphasis on local, seasonal ingredients which is based on their support for sustainable agriculture & to the growing demand for healthy, creative cuisine.


What is a No-Host Dinner?


A No-Host Dinner is an intimate casual meal that brings people together around a common topic of interest. They are typically very loose and social. 


As for the menu, it will be a special prix fixe menu for our group (see below for details.)


Payment is requested up front in order to reserve our space. Your ticket gets you three yummy courses and includes tax and tip!  




Premium members receive a $20 DISCOUNT!

Guests may choose one option from each of the following categories.


Appetizers:


Soup of the Season


FARMiCiA Salad lettuces & garden vegetables, croutons, herb vinaigrette on the side


FARMiCaesar Salad romaine, egg-free dressing, croutons, Parmigiano Reggiano


French Lentils baked goat cheese, garden lettuces, dijon-sherry dressing


Beets & Kale veggie ricotta, roasted garlic & pistachio, citronette




Entrees:


Grilled Pork Chop 14 oz. bone-in, braised cabbage, spaetzle, chestnuts, bourbon cherry demi


Roasted Chicken marbled potatoes, pearl onions, carrots, mushrooms, red wine sauce


Duck Breast sweet potato puree, roasted parsnips, pomegranate, balsamic reduction


Pan Crisped St. Peter’s Fish Filet brown butter, roasted potatoes, sautéed spinach


Vegetarian & Vegan


Seasonal Risotto Croquettes




Desserts:


Rich Bittersweet Flourless Chocolate Torte chocolate ice cream & chocolate fudge sauce


Classic Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée citrus flecked short bread cookie
