• Dr. David Beerling: works as a soil researcher at The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, is Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Climate Change Mitigation and Sorby Professor of Natural Sciences in the Department of Animal and Plant Sciences at the University of Sheffield, UK.
• Ash Richards and EmmaKate Martin: are in Philadelphia’s Department of Parks and Recreation. Ash is Philadelphia’s first Director of Urban Agriculture and is responsible for running the City’s FarmPhilly program. EmmaKate supports the Community Gardens in the Park Friends Network, coordinates the Junior Farmers program, and provides technical assistance for the other urban agriculture projects in FarmPhilly.
