Delaware River Waterfront Cleanup

As anyone who has walked along the urban Delaware River knows, the waterfront is full of piers that support restaurants, apartment residences, marinas, and parks. This set-up makes for a wonderful waterfront atmosphere for runners, bikers, and boaters alike, with plenty of opportunities for recreation and socializing. Unfortunately, the piers can trap trash and debris carried in by the tides, which both takes away from the beauty of the area, and also harms the habitat for Delaware River wildlife. Whether you use the waterfront for socializing, recreation, or just a breath of fresh air, help us protect where we play by joining us for a cleanup of the Delaware River!

United By Blue will provide all cleanup supplies, giveaways, and water. Please wear sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet.
