A TASTE OF KENSINGTON: 20th ANNIVERSARY BENEFIT FOR GREENSGROW

Greensgrow, Philadelphia’s nationally recognized urban farm and garden center, will host a unique celebration in honor of its 20th Anniversary. The tasting room and open-air courtyard of the Philadelphia Brewing Company will be transformed for a special night. Favorite local chefs and food businesses will provide samples of signature dishes and desserts, including farm-to-table hors d’oeuvres from Greensgrow’s Community Kitchen. The VIP reception will feature a craft liquor tasting provided by Kensington’s newest distilleries, live music of Brian Caselli Jordan and an option to bid early on a silent auction of unique experiences and offerings from community partners. The festivities will continue with music by DJ Triple Double and beer and cider straight from Philadelphia Brewing Company. The Capital Campaign will support the work of Greensgrow Farms in Kensington and West Philadelphia, that have been helping create, supply and support our neighborhood’s food community since 1997. www.greensgrow.org/tasteofkensington
