Hope this crisp weather has you falling for the new season! Did you get out to see the new Schuylkill Boardwalk? We're psyched to run on over and give it a go but any way to get outdoors for a little adventure seems ideal for this weekend! This weekend, head over to the race in Fishtown or to the Schuylkill for a wild adventure. It's time to get to BEEEEsness, EPA! 60 House of Representative members sent a letter to the EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy to protect pollinators (AKA bees) from the impact of neonicotinoid pesticides. Local Representatives Chakah Fattah (PA-02) and Allyson Schwartz (PA-13) both signed the letter, for those of you keeping tabs on who's defending our local sustainability. Are you ready for that sound? History is being made this weekend. The People's Climate March is pegged to be the biggest in history on Sunday, 9/21 in this smack middle of Manhattan. With over 1000 groups coordinating the march, citizens are proving a point to our global leaders that our pathetic inaction on climate change ain't cutting it. They're expecting 100,000 people. Let's back up.
