Heat Up When it’s Cold Out: Week Events 1/12 – 1/15/15

Happy Monday! Now that you know if your tree has been given a new life with treecycling, and if your favs won the Golden Globes (and how many Bill Cosby jokes Upper Darby queen Tina Fey made), it’s safe to get up and get going with your week.

Philly Events for January 12 – 15, 2015:

  • Rally For Keystone XL Veto!: Obama’s got a big decision soon and says he’ll veto a Keystone XL pipeline vote. 350 Philly‘s hosting a rally to hold Obama accountable, including a march to Senator Casey’s office. Tuesday, January 13th at 5 PM, Meet at LOVE Park, Deets on Facebook.
  • Women Bike PHL Coffee Club:  Caffeinate & talk all things bike with the lovely ladies of the Women Bike PHL coffee club. Wednesday, January 14th at 8 AM, Last Drop Cafe, 1300 Pine Street, Facebook RSVP.
  • Nature Preschool Open House: Learn about the Schuylkill Center‘s Nature Preschool, a pioneering school for children ages 3-5. Visit the classrooms, meet key staff and pick up a registration packet. Children are welcome; activities will be provided.
