Becker Farm Birding in Early Fall

Explore both field and forest while enjoying beautiful vistas of the Passaic River Valley. This is the right time to watch for early “fall” migrants travelling along the ridgelines of the Watchung Mountains. Meet at Essex County Environmental Center, 621 B Eagle Rock Ave., Roseland, NJ 07068
Becker Farm dates back to 1880 when it was a farm. Over the years this farm added its famous railroad which entertained families for over 30 years. The now abandoned farm is a great place to spot grassland birds.
